Special Needs Children: Bullies and the Bullied

Educational initiatives and concerns have bypassed, for the most part, the plight of bullies and the bullied. Discussions here will involve methods to incorporate research and teacher experience into curriculum. We will employ off-site learning, as well as classroom discussion, to bring the ethos of the teacher’s community and its particular issues into the classroom. Discussion of how alternate learning styles, multicultural group formation and gender related issues can impact long term learning will be included. Teachers should become confident in addressing the issue in their classrooms and when dealing with parents and other concerned parties i. e.: administrators, guidance, and law enforcement personnel.
